Nice piece.
The intro feels a bit too slow, but once it starts it's kinda catchy (and yes, uplifting).
The pause starts at the right time and does a good job preparing for the final, which was my favorite part. Nice overall sound, a little bassy but not too much, some extra variations on the snare and maybe a roll once in a while could improve the rhythm.

5TanLey responds:

Thanks for your words :)

Holy s#!t man !
All I can say about this piece is how awesome it is.
If there's any room to improvement, it's way beyond what I'm able to perceive.

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thank you, man. We appreciate it! :)

Fun, energetic and very enjoyable piece.
It's interesting how you made your melody line using a "background-esque" sound, those wobbles give a nice change to the track's pace. There are some moments when the song feels a bit empty, but it isn't necessarily bad. A deeper reverb on the snare could give this track some extra strength.

Hallow responds:

I'm never using the sound as a constant lead again. xD
Glad you like the wobbles.
About the reverb, I tried to get a nice sound out of it - anything else sounded a bit like a dog barking. :P

Great riffs ! Specially around 1:48 when the "second voice" kicks in.
Nice mix, mastering and overall sound.
Crashes sound a bit too bright, and snare a bit too muffled, but is not a flaw really, it is more in the personal taste side. Keep rocking guys ! (º- º ) \m/

TSRBand responds:

Thanks for checking it out! Glad you liked it. I'll have to turn up that snare for next time!

I like the composition and how the piece develops, sounds of choice blend well together.
Some little tweaks on your mix could make it better, the high pitched strings are a little too loud (a faster attack would be nice too), and the horns could use some extra volume to increase the "epicness"

Earel responds:

Ok ;)
Thanks for your advices

Gotta love that groove !
The change was well introduced and it felt fluent. When the song returned to the first theme felt a bit sudden to me, but it is a minor detail. Solid piece man.

DeadlyAlchemy responds:

I'm always about that groove :D

I agree with that too, I think I might change up how I return to the main theme, maybe using the first piano sequence alongside the jazz bass?

Your Dad made a damn good point referencing "Lord of the flies"
We humans as children are still in a savage, incomplete, larva state.
In order to achieve "civilization", guidance of experience people and a solid structure and discipline is needed, no way around it.

SilverFoxJams responds:

I know, right? He's one of the smartest people I know! :) My Dad says, "We're the two wheels to your axis."

You really love your spooks don't you ?
Me too man, great sounds, melody, harmony and composition.
I would've liked better a tuba instead of the bass voice on the first part, but that is just personal taste.
Back ground noises and whispers really add to the atmosphere on part 2.

Azhthar responds:

Thanks a lot! Yes, spooky stuff is good ;) I might consider to do a remake of some of my older tracks and throw all the spooky stuff together for an album... Anyway... Glad you like it ;) I chose the bass voice because I liked the imagination that some haunts are singing and dancing in the room. Maybe I´ll redo a faster orchestral version of this track, though, because I think this might work as well.

Nice and energetic, very adequate for a game.
It could use a bit of sub-bass to increase the intensity. I like the chromatic line (around 0:16).
If you make it all the way on chromatic quarter notes back and fort, it could turn into the highlight of this piece.

demon1000 responds:

Thanks LexaHergon!

There's so many things I don't understand , and I'm not sure if I want to.
