Knowledge rules !
Your dad sounds like a cool guy. (º- º ) b

SilverFoxJams responds:

Knowledge is POWER!! Yeah he really is. He knows a whole lot. Sometime, for another podcast, I'll suggest that he talk about how the govt. wanted him to stop teaching - to stop making people smarter.

I'll never forget how crazy that was.

This track has a nice "scary mood".
Its a bit short, but with the right transition to connect ending and beginning, It will work great as a loop.

Earel responds:

Thanks !

It's short because it's for an animation project. And the animator ask me to make a music with that duration

This was quite a ride! (sorry for the lame pun :P)
This sure is an interesting piece, 1 part of creepy, 1 part of fun, and 1 part of warm sax melody.
Love your progressions and "root" changes. Percs could use a bit more of presence.
Was it my imagination , or you subtly swept the "green sleeves" melody there ?

ZipZipper responds:

...your imagination!

Nice track and phrases, love the bass line and short synth sound.
The only thing a bit off to me is how the voice sounds, (not your voice, it has a nice sound) the overall voice track sound. That could use a bit of extra "make-up" to blend into the music.

ADR3-N responds:

Glad you liked it! Could you shoot me a pm about the vocals? It took a lot just to get them to where they are, but a little advice on polishing them would be amazing

Nice track.
I like the riffs, they are very catchy, plenty of nice drum patterns too.
The only thing I don't like that much is that there are too much high freqs (to my taste).

TSRBand responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it! I think you're right though, some of that high end might be a bit much here.

Epic Indeed man. I like how the winds set the tone, and the strings remark the rhythm.
Volume sounds a little low, that may give the illusion of being a weak piece (which is not).
Some extra percussive sounds or a more complex drum pattern on the second part, will give extra strength to the ending and overall epic feel of this theme.

Earel responds:

Thanks dude !
About the volume, I'm using Cubase 5 which is totally new for me. So I don't now a to make my song stronger.
I agree with you about the drums, and i'll think about it the next time
Thanks again :)

Diggin' it.
The mix is unusual (for standards) but gives an ominous feel to this piece.
Sound like something out of a sci-fi movie or video game, the only thing I would change is giving some more presence to the background synths, specially the choir-ish one.

ADR3-N responds:

Thanks for the review. It was hard to tame the bass, perhaps because the many layers of kicks. Can't quite identify the choir-y synth you're talking about, but I do know the bass was a bit cranked compared to the rest of the mix. Could have been the quick mastering I threw on it. At least nothing clipped!

Nice one man. Good beat , pannings and sounds of choice.
It took me a couple of listens to get the flavor of the main theme, but once I did, I liked it a lot.

TaintedLogic responds:

Thanks a lot, man! Yeah, I understand what you mean about it "taking you a couple of listens..." One thing I have to work on is not letting the pacing run out of control. It can be hard to listen to a piece that changes as quickly as this one. Anyway, thanks again. ;)

There's so many things I don't understand , and I'm not sure if I want to.
